Sports and Rehabilitation Center (CSR)
Located on MUW’s main campus is a state-of-the-art Olympic-size swimming pool. The MUW Sports and Rehabilitation Center also has a large sports hall for indoor activities, a rock climbing facility, several fitness studios, a well-equipped gym and locker rooms. Medical Simulation Center
At Medical University of Warsaw (MUW), students have the opportunity to practice medical procedures during classes conducted at the Medical Simulation Center. Students train on high fidelity manikin-based patients (adults, a child, infants and childbirth birthing patient) using standard clinical equipment, monitors and tools that they will later encounter in hospitals. The high level simulation equipment available at the Medical Simulation Center prepares our students for the real world situations in healthcare.
Hospitals
Medical University of Warsaw (MUW) has six teaching hospitals, including a top general medicine and surgery hospital, a brand new pediatric hospital, and hospitals that specialize in women’s health and ophthalmology . Our doctors are some of the best specialists in Poland. One of the main advantages of studying at MUW is the invaluable practical training medical students can gain at our teaching hospitals and affiliated hospitals across Warsaw.
Main Library
The natural light that cascades the open space reading area makes studying and working a pleasant experience. Students have access to some 100 stand-alone computers, including 10 Apple Mac computers, group and individual study rooms, as well as, thousands of books, periodicals and e-learning resources.
Student Relaxation Zone, green spaces
and SUPP Common Room
At Medical University of Warsaw (MUW), students can take a break, hang out with friends or do some studying on green spaces around campus or in lounge areas especially designed for our students. The Main Lecture Hall building houses such a space at the lower level called the Student Relaxation Zone. In addition, our international students can enjoy their free time in the SUPP
Rectorate
Students seeking information or help can find it in the Rectorate where the Dean’s Office is located. There are staff dedicated to student matters, admissions and finances that answer email and phone calls. During COVID-19, it is necessary to make an appointment before going to the Rectorate.

6-Year Medical Program
A 6 year (12 semesters) full-time long-cycle program.
The first 3 years are pre-clinical studies (lectures and seminars) . In 4th, 5th and 6th year, students receive clinical training in
our teaching hospitals, Medical Simulation Center and during internships.
All teaching and medical training is conducted in English.
Students earn the standard European requirement of 5700 hours and 360 ECTS credits.
Students graduate with the professional title of lekarz, meaning Doctor of Medicine (MD).
Our diploma is recognized by the EU, UK, U.S., Canada and most other countries around the world.
Our diploma has the accreditation of the U.S. Department of Education, Medical Board of California, Malaysian Medical Council and Medical Council of Thailand.
EUR 13 700 tuition fee per year.

Admissions
At Medical University of Warsaw (MUW), admissions to the 6-year Medical Program is assessed based on the following criteria:
A. Your final grades in Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics on your high school-leaving examination certificate (high school diploma)
B. Score from either of the following tests: MUW competency test, BMAT, MCAT, GAMSAT, UKCAT. If you hold a BSc or MSc degree, you will be assessed based on your university GPA.

C. Proof of English language proficiency
These criteria pertain to everyone applying to the 6-year Medical Program, including IB/EB students, Polish and international students, as well as, university students and degree holders.

Apply online
To apply to the Medical University of Warsaw 6-year Medical Program, register online via our Online Recruitment System (ORS). Deadline: June 30, 2022.
Step 2
Pay the application fee
24 EUR if you want to write the MUW competency test. To register for the MUW competency test, please follow the ORS steps.
20 EUR if you want to submit your BMAT, MCAT UKCAT GAMSAT score OR if you hold a BSc or MSc degree.

Step 4
Accept and confirm
Check your ORS application regularly to learn if you have “QUALIFIED”. To accept, reply by email and pay a 200 EUR non-refundable confirmation fee. Provide certified copies of ALL required documents to the Admission Office to guarantee your place in the 6-year Medical Program. Learn more.
